Jaksal Chicken

I believe many many people especially if you are either a Hyun Joong’s fan or Triple S will get to know this ‘chicken place’ – Jaksal. It used to be just one normal quiet restaurant at far away at Seokchon (It’s about near 40mins bus ride from Noryangjin!). But it seems to be very commerialize after all the logos have changed, CF have shoot with HyunJoong. Nevertheless of how disappointed I am to dine in such commerialize restaurant….. i still find their peanuts chicken the best!

Jaksal @ Seokchon is probably really out of the way, if you check the subway map. There’s basically nothing there to shop, (if you are a shopper, you probably think Seokchon is the last place you ever thought of going). But lucky it was just a stop away from Jamsil. And I properly will suggest you that… If you are going to Lotte World, or their department store at Jamsil, plan the same day with Dinner over Jaksal. It’s just a stop away. I mean you wouldn’t properly travel all the way to Seokchon from Myeongdong (though I thought it is really worth going even you are at Myeongdong lol).

Jaksal @Seokchon location really doesn’t really helps but they have stories behind. This is the place where they (hyunjoong and the jaksal’s gang) spent their childhood. And, they promised if anyone of them become successful, they will open a chicken restaurant!.. And of cos, being a celebrity/singer/actor/hallyu star – Hyun Joong decided to fulfil their childhood’s dream…! And why chicken restaurant? IF you been to Korea, you should know and SEE how much they love about CHICKEN! During HJ & friend’s teens period, they ususally did their part time over chicken store! (I know HJ work in TGIF before though) Btw, Jaksal is the name of HyunJoong’s dog….! LOL!

I think I went to Jaksal for 3 times this trip. 2 to Seokchon and the last time to ilsan’s.
The first time was with extended Pie Family, while the 2nd was with violet, and last one while the girls doing their hair at ilsan πŸ™‚

The very first time to Jaksal during this trip!

This outlet is flooded with lots of HJ’s photo, and this shop is apparently opened by HJ’s parent.
We got to see his mom there too!
She was ever ready to hop on a bike anytime with the attire she wore. Full Leather.

I still prefer the one at Seokchon. Somehow it taste better, and food is in good quality. I mean, I have to be honest, since some of my friends are going to Korea with a little help from my blog entry. I would still intro you to Jaksal, because it’s really one of the best ‘fried’ chicken in Korea. And I doesn’t want you to miss it or coming back saying its not really good. So go for the Seokchon one unless you are telling me how much you want to see HJ’s mom. LOL! And Ilsan is not very near… It like 1hour away? It’s near the airport? I don’t know its just far! πŸ˜›

Just like the previously entry, here’s photo from 2011 which I have yet posted anywhere! πŸ˜€
