Rilakkuma Cafe (카피카피룸룸 / 懶懶熊 Cafe)

[Updated in 2015: According to some research, its officially closed.]

Rina was sharing with us that there’s a Rilakkuma Cafe in Seoul itself. As a fan of Rilakkuma, I really doesn’t want to miss going there and I really love how Korea Cafe is. Well, with Rina’s help, we got the direction in FULL Korean, and of cos with Jimei’s help, we got it all DONE! 🙂

Now, follow me, and we will get there REAL SOON 🙂

LINE 4 SUNG SHIN WOMEN’s UNI Station.

4/Blue Line, so if you stayed at Myeongdong, it will be a direct stop 🙂

It’s my first time going to SungShin Women’s Uni station. To our surprise, its also another SHOPPING AREA! I guessed all their station with ‘UNI’ words simply = SHOPPING 😀 So, give yourself some buffer time, I actually got myself 1 tee there. and the girls got some tees and bags as well! 🙂

When exit, if you see KB Bank… (You are on the right track!), Turn Right Before the Bank!! Walk along the way till you see Mr Pizza, you are really very near to it! 🙂 Along the street where MR Pizza is, you will see Capicapi Loom Loom! That is it! You REACHED! 🙂 *breathe in and out* You probably will lost control with the cute Rilakkuma around! And, maybe you wish to bring them home!!! 😛

  • omggg thanks for the information! i just found out bout this cafe and im going Korea end of this month.i cant wait!! can i ask , is the stuff there cheap? 🙂

    • Hi Renee Ho 🙂

I’m sure you gonna love this so much! I must say, this cafe definitely can’t beat the one in Japan. But to me, a Rilakkuma love, I definitely love it. My friends and I just went crazy over it. I think for their soft toy pretty much the same that I bought from a HK site… but their XL bear was pretty cheap at around 150-180SGD 🙂

  • How much is the one that you were holding in the cafe? I’m going to korea in apr and i’m definitely going there after seeing this post! Thankyou so much for this wonderful piece of infomation!! ^^

    • Hi Alison,

Glad you like this post 🙂 We also looking around when we knew they have one in Seoul 😀

The big one I’m holding in the cafe cost about 150SGD if I did not remember wrongly. It shld be in 120,000W 🙂

  • wow this post is making me crazy….wanna go Korea as soon as possible n try all the places n food …but so sad i wont be able to try all those foods and i guess I wont survive if i go for a long holiday there … plus language barrier is always there … poor me … but anyway awesome post …

    • You should make a visit soon! 🙂 Every time, I was there, I can’t help to plan for the next trip 🙂 Korea is awesome and I can’t wait to share more places with you girls! 🙂

How come you can’t try those foods? Im sure you able to try at least certain food? Maybe Noryangjin? 🙂

Me think language is a little problem, but still alright 🙂 Good thing they speak slight english, and better mandarin 🙂

      ^^

      • Ok slight english is better than nothing 🙂 Mandarian i dont know myself so useless … keke
For the food thing I am partly veggie person and I doubt if there I can find any good food for veggies …

        • 🙂 If you referring to retail shop especially TFS, Skin Food, Etude House, etc etc… They speaks Japanese/ English/ Mandarin/ Korean…. this definitely not a very big issue for you 🙂

Other than that, the seller usually ‘press’ the prices on the calculator for you when they knew you are a tourist 🙂

Oh! 🙂 Actually, I’m not a veggie person, but I can’t eat meat everyday also. Not a very big issue if you are a veggie problem.

There’s kimchi soup, tofu soup, cold noodle, seafood soup, seafood pancake, noryangjin on seafood (updated recently), kimchi rice, kimchi ramen, seafood ramen, cheese ramen, rice cake etc.

Alternative, you can visit cafe for western-style meal. And not forgetting there’s krisy kreme too! 🙂

          • You are welcome. I will slowly updates my blog on my Korea trips.. and hopefully all these helps when you are on F&E to Korea. And, even so, you also felt more ease that someone have been through the difficult part – the finding and travelling 🙂 Hwaiting! 😀
