Last post for Winter Hokkaido 2017! Heading back 1 day earlier because of SY’s US visa application and it lead to many magical first time in my life wow! 🙂

Our last meal in Hokkaido! 🙁 I am really missing every great moment I have in Hokkaido, and wish I can bring all my loves one here too!

Day trip to Noboribetsu and we regretted why we didn’t stay a night as we does not have enough time to see around Noboribetsu! 🙁 But, there’s always the next time 🙂

We did not buy any JR pass because we realise most of the time we didn’t use the train so it’s actually cheaper this way! (Do your maths, I am very sure buy separately is pretty worth too!)
It’s really significant when we were there. It is so picturesque! 🙂

I always love to eat chicken base soup, and it is not easy to find in most ramen places! After researching, we managed to find one that have michelin star awarded in 2012. And, how can I missed this if we are around the area! 🙂

We were early, but still #2!
Yay! And this means, they are officially open for business!
Definitely add on eggs too! How can ramen without eggs!
I ordered their #1 dish which is the chicken base soup ramen! 🙂
SY ordered #2 dish – salted chicken base soup ramen!
Both are so good, and missing how simple and nice ramen this was!
Walked about 15mins in this town, filled with snow, filled with happiness 🙂
Stopped by this tree that looks pretty!

Always end a day with perfect dinner! 🙂 This time, we wanted to eat something that was different from the previous days and decided on this. True enough, we were not even sure if they served chicken or pork, but let’s just try and eat something nice!

SY ordered Hamburger in Brown Hotchpotch sauce with Chunky Bacon and Browned Cheese
I ordered Curry-flavoured hotchpotch with hamburger and colourful vegetable (if I remembered correctly lol) we top-up 2 sausages to for sharing!
Their hamburger is in the sense of “burger” meat patty. Not sure if is made of beef or mixed beef with pork, but definitely a good meal! 🙂

I remembered many years ago, whenever a friend went Japan for a holiday will bring back box of Shiroi Koibito biscuits. This time, instead of buying the biscuits back, we visited their factory and theme park! 🙂

with the snow on the building, it looks even more romantic!
During winter season, the theme park will be light up too!
It’s so beautiful, but I will share it later, more on the factory first! 🙂

but, I tried their ice cream! Hokkaido is all about ice cream! :p
Look at the snow, it’s pouring down beautifully even a day after Christmas! 🙂

while walking to the park, this was something that I never thought that I will see it in my own real eyes! It’s so effortlessly beautiful in Hokkaido!

This post will be focus on one of the most popular attractions in Sapporo – Tokeidai, The Clock Tower and a cafe that I will talk about it later in the post 🙂

The Clock Tower is one of the significant attraction in Sapporo. According to some of the readings, this reflect the first hours of Sapporo founded to be colonize Hokkaido. It’s also build on a wooden structure that look exceptionally remarkable.


It was snowing that day and it looks ravishing in white.

Heading over to 森彦 Morihiko Coffee

This cafe is very popular for their handmade coffee, though both of us didn’t try coffee haha. The reason I went over is because of the beautiful cafe exterior and interior.


Head over to Maruyama Koen Station 🙂


The reason why I wanted to visit this cafe! Actually it started to snow even heavily and we were so cold from the walk from the station!

I always believe having a good breakfast will make your day a happier one. So, let me show you how happy my day was! During both my trip to Hokkaido, I had this for breakfast because it’s too good to give it a miss! 🙂 I did say, a good breakfast make your day happier, no wonder I was really happy during my Hokkaido trip! :p

We told them we doesn’t want the meat, but it just taste normally alright haha

MUST ORDER – I love how puffy the takoballs are. The omelette with mentaiko sauce was so flavorful that give a very distinctive yet heavenly taste. I wanted this right now please! 🙁

We ate one of the most famous ice cream at otaru! SY had 7 layer while i had 5 layers!
They are: grapes 🍇 / strawberry 🍓 / matcha 🍵 / melon 🍈 /  vanilla 🥛 / chocolate 🍫 / lavender 💐

Heading Home…

When we reached Otaru Station and saw this…. Apparently due to the heavy snow, the train from Sapporo is temporary not heading over to Otaru – Dangerous? And there will be no Bus heading over as well. My cousin and I decided to give a little wait first before making decision between booking a last minute hotel or head back by taxi (which is probably cost the same amount as the hotel).
