I was going through my photo albums to realise, I have yet share about our simple fun Oido day trip in March!

The main purpose of this trip is to have fun doing Clam Digging (in the mud during low tide)

But, when we reached, we realised the weather condition is not available for our mud-clam-digging session. We found ourselves a new activity!

DID YOU KNOW?

When you are at Oido Boardwalk, you had to have local speciality – Raw Fish / Grilled Clams / Clamshell Noodle Soup. We randomly walked one, and we had a great time having so much good food together!

Direction to Oido Boardwalk / Iconic Oido Lighthouse

You may take subway all the way to Oido Station. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.

From Oido Exit 1/2, you can take a Bus 30-2 to Oido Boardwalk (alight at Oido Ocean Complex stop). It takes about 20 minutes ride.

• If you wish to do the clam digging, make sure is a low tide period.
• You can also buy a pack of prawn crackers (like what we did) to have a feeding seagull experience

There’s this bakery in Jeonju that is really popular. They are the one behind the choco-pies! Iconic dessert in Jeonju!

You must have remembered most of your friends who visited Korea bring back to choco pies, and this is where original choco pies from!

How about a cafe visit in Jeonju! This cafe, is a must-visit because its really pretty and they served really nice drinks! So let’s go

Jeonju Omokdae Observatory 오목대

Our next stop, is heading to Omokdae for the overview of Jeonju Hanok Village. The village have more than 800 traditional houses which is the reason why many tourists headed here for a short visit. Here at the observatory we will get to see this little village surround by the modern city! Just a short walk within the village~

Wansan Park

We also went to Wansan Park to see flowers, but we were just too early, and there’s nothing at all haha! So, just take a few photos along the way.

I went Jeonju in 2012 and this time after 7 years, we are heading back together (with Cin again~). Not sure how much it changed during this 7 years. We shall see this trip, feeling exciting!

Met Cin at Sinchon Station first, because we wanted to grab breakfast at Egg Drop haha!

Arriving at Express Bus Terminal, and here over to get our ticket to Jeonju!

Walking around to look for our lunch, as all of us don’t really eat raw beef, so we had a long time searching for it. Actually, we wanted to eat the same store we had 7 years ago, didnt get to see them again!

I finally tried Egg Drop, and I hope you all tried this if you love Isaac Toast! I love how creamy the scramble egg is, and the sweet sauce that always makes korean toast something special!

Honestly, I love EGG DROP more than Isaac Toast, and this 2019 trip, I actually tried 3 times!!!! haha :p

You have to order everything on the vending machine. That’s where all my coins go to too. (haha!) You can also add extra hams/ eggs and etc. Everything through the machine!

One of the most prettiest cafes I visited in Korea. There’s always somewhere prettier in Korea that is not in Seoul, yet not a lot of people visit them. A little pity when friends think visiting Seoul is just enough. I hope more people visit a little more of Korea! You definitely have some fun!

• Nice drinks especially Gujora Ade.
• Do note, the bus is not frequent, hence you might need to check the timing before leaving the cafe to reach the bus stop in time.
• (I took the bus from Cordelia Hotel – walking distance from Wahyun Bay Ferry Terminal)

Hey, we are at the last part of Oedo Botania! This post is slightly a little more interesting because we are at this one and only cafe in the island – cafe oh beautiful. This cafe is located at the highest point of the island, and its has the best view of the sea!

After having a photo spam of Oedo Botania in the previous entry. I have to separate them into different posts (to be exact, there’s 3! haha so there’s one more to go haha!) I have just too much photos – basically Oedo Botania is a garden, and filled with flowers and trees, so there’s just simply too much for it! haha! Just sharing, I have already cut-down haha!

So, there’s only 1 ferry today (because of the high tide), we have to be back within 2.5hr. Honestly, 2.5hour might seems long but yet we didn’t have much time because the garden is just too BIG! We just do it fast, real fast haha!
