Oh gosh, look at the salmon!

No Korea trip is complete without indulging in a delightful salmon dinner. While my go-to spot has always been “Salmon Bingsoo,” I recently stumbled upon a highly regarded eatery frequented by locals in Gangnam.

Naturally, my expectations were high, as the reviews and appearances were quite promising. After thoroughly researching and reading numerous posts confirming their exceptional sashimi and buffet offerings, I eagerly anticipated my visit.

However, upon arrival, I was surprised to learn that their offerings did not align with what I expected.

Nevertheless, a new found place is always an interesting place.

I love how thick and fresh it is! Yes, this is additional portion because I am upset without buffet haha

Apparently, there’s like big crowd in the restaurant, so I put my name and contact number and come back about 30mins later. I go Kakao Shop, and didn’t get anything so sad!

This shop is famous with their raw stuff, so do order them!

With Six+One or My cousins, I will always make the initiatives to plan for our Korea trip. That’s because, I visited really alot of times, and as someone so close to them, I will know where to bring them, and what type of holiday they probably looking for. As for my this #weseoulchio, they are really friends who can’t eat spicy foods, and most korean cuisine are spicy. There’s some i wanted to bring them to try but I guessed its too spicy for them (Sinsa Octopus / Potato Stew) so, I thought a pasta place will be good for them hence, we trying Kitchen Lab. (Oh, did I tell you before, in Korea, almost every other things taste good despite they might be non-korean dishes?)

Every Korea trip needs a MCM visit because I LOVE MCM We actually visited it after the Café Dior by Pierre Hermé and we were so full too.

Trying out many different bags, and I think I got some self-control somehow just because I thought I shldn’t be since I already spent the budget on my 3 weeks trip this time LOL. We were looking at bags and my cousin decided to get one as her birthday gift. The SA was really nice and patience. I remembered the one 4 years ago was so bad that they doesn’t even allow us to go to other floor to check out the bags -.- Well, I still visit the one at Apgujeong Rodeo often (or Sinsa’s). Oh did I mentioned, I received a tote bag from MCM too? She gave 2 and each of us got 1 each, so nice please!!!

SA told us if we want to visit their cafe, and I was still thinking if we have capacity to drink… but eventually, we gave in because, I really want to take a look at it haha.

It’s quite a simple yet very arty kind of setup with vibrant colours too. As mentioned the SA really very nice, they asked if we want coffee, and brew a cup for us that comes with cookies too. Did i told you, this is a complimentary? We thought, we need to pay for the coffee! haha. And, they even took polaroid for us too. So much love from MCM seriously! I actually appreciate every single help from Korea because, personally, I really think they are really nice and helpful in general.

Yeah! I heard SCREAMMMMMM~ When Kakao Friends Flagship Store opens at Gangnam, It’s so so crowded and everyone wants a piece of Ryan! As much as, there’s some pop-up store in Myeongdong and Sinchon, and one official store in Coex, we knew we can’t have enough of them. So glad that KKF decided to open a gigantic one in Gangnam. This 3 storey high building have all sort of merchandises – from casual, travel, home, bedroom to camp goods  Level 3 feature my most favourite – the cafe “Ryan Cafe!”

My friend’s korean friend introduce 새마을식당 to us, when we told him that we are going to Gangnam after Manufact (a coffee place) for Ryan Cafe The restaurant located in Nonhyeon (subway station is sinnonhyeon) is their main restaurant before they started to have chain restaurants around the city!

As someone who do not really like BBQ food/ Pork/ Meat and everything in between, I have to say, this restaurant really serve very very decent and really good BBQ Pork. It’s so nice that, I must bring my cousin here again next year!

According to the friend, they have this 7 minutes kimchi-chige that is so good that you must remember to order! So, we were looking forward especially to this even though its pretty much a hot evening :p

You probably very familiar with him – Mr Paik! He has many franchises such as Mr Paik’s Coffee / Paik Bibimbap etcetc

[!!!] 30th April 2016, Goodbye! I can’t forget that I visited it after attending BEAST’s GIVEMI Challenge Concert where Junhyung was injuried and not able to attend. Junhyung’s uncle updated us at the cafe that he was getting better now Thank you Junhyung’s appa personally made the black tea latte that I really love! I will miss every good memories, and hopefully one day, we will all get to drink and eat it again

[!!!] Updates, HABRUNCH will be opened till 28 April 2016, your last 2 weeks to do the last visit before its closed! Let Junhyung’s father knows that everyone actually love his cafe, and the black tea latte he made was really awesome!  

I visited Cafe The Med in March 2015, and during 2015 July, there’s news regards that they changed the franchise to HABRUNCH. As Junhyung’s fan, how can I not visit this cafe after they remodelled it? hehehe!!! So, I am taking this opportunity to revisit the cafe, and try their juk!

From their latest updates March 2016, HABRUNCH have more varieties on their All-Day-Breakfast/Dessert options. I have yet went to the cafe since they had the new menu. So, I need to revisit it again to try their new dish hahaha

Since its a franchise cafe, the outlook definitely look different from Cafe the Med

Finally, managed to squeeze it to my impromptu December 2015 trip Garosu-gil, a famous street with the most trendy designered items with many lifestyle cafes too. I have blogged a few previously, and this you shouldnt missed it if you are a great fan of cheesecake!
