I visited Layered Café in 2019, and this time, I’m checking out the Jeju outlet. When I first visited the café in Yeonnam, it wasn’t that popular, so I’m surprised that in just five years, it’s become so popular that there’s definitely a queue to enter. Some say the wait can be more than 30 minutes.

We supposed to go to London Bagel Museum so, we took a queue number and come over to cafe layered for a drink.

HELLOSIHUI’S THOUGHTS:
Personally, I think the wait in Seoul is a lot longer. So, if you’re in Jeju, consider visiting this outlet for a more convenient experience while waiting for the London Bagel Museum! Be sure to order the Earl Grey Milk Tea—it’s so good, probably the best drink I had in Jeju during my stay!

HELLOSIHUI’S TIPS: 
Be early, haha! There’s nothing I can say except be early! In Jeju, everything need to queue.

I saw this online and thought, “Wow, that looks amazing!” It was also listed as one of the most popular cafes in Jeju. So, of course, we decided to visit before checking in at our Airbnb!

There’s outdoor seat, but it was raining!

While pondering, is the café the right one? Haha!

But I do find the sound of plates clinking together to be very soothing!

Considering this is one of the top cafés to visit, I’m wondering if it’s really worth it. Haha!

In Korea, in spring its always strawberry latte. I love how they really put real fruit jam inside!

The colored glass panels look beautiful when the sun shines through them (but there wasn’t any sun).

I found the café a bit overwhelming and not as impressive as it appeared online. It is beautiful when the “smoke” is activated, but I’m not sure when that happens—maybe when there are more people?

HELLOSIHUI’S TIPS: 
Arrive early to take nice photos; otherwise, it gets really crowded. However, if you’re alone, I’m not sure if the smoke will be activated.

This trip was mainly hunting for different food and enjoy the scenery of Jeju. I was really attracted to this pasta place where their pasta is filled with fish roe and abalone. So, we visited this place to try if they looks as good as it taste!

I have visited Jeju in 2011, 2013 and 2017. These 3 trips were all very different from each other.

During my first visit in Jeju in 2011, as first timers, we enjoyed all the tourist attractions and visited all the great food in Jeju. Back then, things were a lot simple – Black Pork and Abalone Porridge. During my 2nd visit in 2013, Carol and Cin already visited Jeju before, so, we decided to do more fun sport in Jeju such as ATV, Jetboat etc and I had one of the best Seafood Feast with them too! My 3rd visit to Jeju was a whole new experience, because we decided to self-drive, visited all the nice cafes and food places with some beach and waterfall in mind.

I think photo from 2011, and 2013 might be a little too long ago to post (maybe I will mentioned casually after sharing all about Jeju 2017?). So, let me start on Jeju 2017 before 2019 starts.

We took Jeju Air this time. I took Korean Air and Asiana on previous trip, the price wise are all similar though. And this also means, we went to Bomnal right after arriving Jeju haha!
