Remember during my 2013 July/August trip, I visited a pretty petite cafe; Banana Tree at Sinsa, that serve really interesting dessert? During my last winter trip with my cousin, she told me aside from seeing snow, she would love to visit the flower pot place. So, I had to bring her there My perfect christmas will be cafe hopping the entire day haha. So, I thought of visiting Banana Tree (Hannam) on that very day… Just a little worried that the cafe will be closed on a season day, hence I went to check with the pretty girl on FB. She told me they are open on the eve and suggested me to visit the Hannam outlet instead since I have been to Sinsa the other time.

So, here we go to the Hannam’s. The outlet in Hannam (Hangang-jin/ Insadong) is slightly bigger than the Sinsa outlet, so if you come in a bigger group, I will encourage you to visit here instead. Nevertheless, both are nice and will suggest you to visit both of it too

#I love cafes that put in pride in their product. It’s christmas eve that very day, and there’s a mini tree on it!

Remember how much I love Cafe hopping in Korea (Australia & Singapore) as well, this summer trip, we included quite a fair bit of cafe visit but due to the time limit, we only managed to go for a few one but, we manged to visit the one we really wanted – Banana Tree. And we were happy with the dessert

This cafe is quite a surprise because they are actually located quite off the subway so ‘maybe’ not many people knew about it. It’s petite and cosy cafe, handling by young ladies (during my visit). How I wish, I could have a cafe like this too. A pity that, Cin can’t join us but we promised to visit together next time

#the banana “cake” is really nice. The texture is soft, the taste is unforgettable

#it’s so beautiful, I mean where do you find dirt/soil delicious? Only in Banana Tree!

#their french toast taste slightly sweeter than what we usually eat, but its delicious!

#Rilakkuma is excited for his first visit here. A comparison of the dessert with a mini soft toy. A good share for 2, but definitely enough for 1.
