Haebangchon’s Sinheung Market is one of the latest trendy spots in Seoul, and it’s easy to see why. What used to be a quiet, local market has slowly transformed into a lively, creative space where young people love to hang out. Over the years, the market has collaborated with different brands, and right now it’s paired with Coca-Cola, adding a fun, modern twist to the traditional streets.

For K-drama fans, there’s another reason to stroll through this market; it’s a filming location for the Netflix series “Can This Love Be Translated?” Walking along its alleys, I couldn’t help but imagine following in Kim Seon Ho’s footsteps, soaking in the same streets he wandered on screen.

For me, Sinheung Market is more than just food and shopping. It’s a mix of old Seoul charm, youthful energy, and little surprises around every corner. Whether you’re here for a casual walk, a caffeine stop, or just to feel the vibe of this trendy neighborhood, it’s a place worth exploring slowly, letting the streets tell their own story.

Granhand is one of my favourite places to visit on every trip to Korea. No matter how many times I return, it’s always on my list. I pick up my own favourites, choose gifts for friends, and somehow end up sharing the brand with everyone around me. If they fall in love with it too, they can always revisit Granhand on their next Korea trip, which makes it even more special, haha.

Over the years, I’ve visited several Granhand outlets across Seoul. You can read more about my experiences at Granhand Dosan, Granhand Mapo, and Granhand Seochon, each with its own mood, neighbourhood, and story. For fragrance lovers travelling to Korea, every Granhand store feels slightly different, yet unmistakably familiar.

This trip, though, is a little different. I’ll be visiting all nine Granhand outlets in Korea — every single one of them. It’s a small personal project, driven by my love for scent, slow travel, and discovering how place and fragrance come together. There’s a reason behind this journey, and I’ll be sharing it with you, one outlet at a time, along the way.

As you may have read in the previous post, this Granhand outlet is located just one floor below the café. It makes the experience even better because who doesn’t love an aesthetic café in Korea? After a relaxed chat with friends, enjoying the sunset view, you can head down to pick up a beautiful fragrance for your home or a thoughtful gift for someone special.

I think Granhand’s visual merchandising is exceptionally well done. Across all their stores in Seoul, each space looks beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Even though every outlet has its own unique touch, you can immediately tell that it’s still Granhand.

They have different series and this store also sell beans!

And the main reason behind this Granhand journey is the Granhand Passport. There are a total of nine stores, and we’ll be visiting every single one of them to collect a unique stamp in our Granhand Passport. Once all nine stamps are completed, we’ll be able to redeem a special gift.

But honestly, it’s less about the gift and more about the journey itself exploring different neighbourhoods, stepping into each Granhand space, and enjoying the process along the way.

I’ve always known Granhand has its own café chain, and yes, there is one at Namsan! But don’t blur blur think it’s inside the Namsan Tower ah. It’s actually nearer to the entrance of Namsan Park. And how did I discover this? Thanks to my kaypoh self who keeps staring out of the bus window like I’m on a secret mission. Every landmark also take note one. So during our trip to Sinheung Market (Haebangchon side), my eyes suddenly spotted… Granhand Namsan! (I will share next!)

After exploring Sinheung Market, we wandered into Haebangchon; the next trendy neighbourhood that’s quieter, artsy, and full of that charming mix of history and modern culture. All this while sitting along the slopes of Namsan mountain… very “hidden gem” vibes.

And because we wanted some views, we decided to head back to the café. Best decision.

I was hoping to try their strawberry cake, but it was sold out both times we visited. I’ve heard their cakes are very popular and tend to sell out fast. On our second visit, most of the pastries were gone as well. That said, the space is large and lovely, especially for enjoying the sunset.

HELLOSIHUI’S TIPS: 
Arrive early since sunset draws a big crowd. The rooftop can be a bit cold, but it’s perfect if you want a quieter spot with a great view.

Hello hello!

I’m finally back from my trip (yes… for a week already) and my heart + camera roll are overflowing. I have so much to share—like really, so so SO much. Think: 18 days of adventures, food comas, accidental discoveries, repeated favourites, and brand-new gems. And not just Seoul… we hopped around Jeju, Wonju, and Icheon too! That’s already a whole buffet of stories, right?

I know some of you have been peeking at my IGS and the reels. Don’t worry, more are coming (three on the way). I promise you’ll be in good hands once everything is up. It might take a while though… I’ve only managed to organise all the photos into albums. Editing? Watermarking? Ehhh… let’s give me some time. Good things need patience, right?

So many friends have been asking me lately… “E-mu store still around ah?” Hehe, yes yes yes! Dory and I have been visiting since 2013 — that’s 12 years already, can you believe it?! Every trip to Korea, it’s our little ritual to pop by almost every other day (holiday mood mah~). So I thought… okay, must share my favourite Sinchon street food spot with you all! And of course, no need to guess — our last day in Korea is always reserved for e-mu store.

I really love the street food from e-mu! It’s a must-visit in Sinchon for me — hands down our favourite spot so far. The food is exactly my kind of taste, and the prices are so friendly too (maybe because it’s in a university area ).

You will able to get refill for the soup, and its a must, love the radish soup base! SO GOOOD!

My cousin is a true meat lover (except salmon, oddly enough ). I just found out she’s the type who needs her meals super fulfilling — like, she must be full-full, not just half-full. Meanwhile, I’m the total opposite… I prefer having many small meals, so basically every meal is a snack for me hahaha!

That’s why I thought this water parsley BBQ pork might be right up her alley! I was also super curious about the taste of water parsley — in my head, I imagined it might be like our watercress… but let’s find out if it actually tastes like that!

Right at the doorstep, you’ll be greeted by a whole wall of BWS photos — so yes, you’ve definitely come to the right place! Hahaha

The menu looks very simple, but if we have more people, I think I will want to try the cold noodles haha!

One of the main reasons I came here was because of Byeon Woo Seok, hehe Since this BBQ place—목구멍—was opened by his friends, of course I had to come support! Plus, it seems like many celebrities have visited too, like Haha and Yoo Jaesuk during their filming~

Another reason? They serve water parsley with the meat! Something I’ve never tried before, and my cousin was craving meat, so it was a win-win! And honestly… it was pretty good leh! Not too expensive too—our wallets didn’t cry haha

Oh! Almost forgot to mention… all the staff here are super tall, like Woo Seok himself Some people were even taking photos with them! But for me, I just wanted to eat my meat peacefully la~ let me BBQ in peace okay hahaha!

HELLOSIHUI’S TIPS: 
Just a heads-up—they’re really insistent on ordering 3 portions at once. We originally wanted to start with 2 portions first, try them out, and then decide what to get for the 3rd… but nope, they didn’t allow that Very firm about it!

Aiya, chill lah~ let us enjoy and decide slowly mah But anyway, just go prepared to order all 3 portions right from the start!

One of the main reasons for this trip was to snap some really nice photos—and guess what? I ended up visiting INSPIRE Arena, a super cool, brand-new indoor arena in Incheon!

Opened in November 2023, INSPIRE Arena is part of the Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort and can seat up to 15,000 people (yes, it’s huge!). It’s not just for concerts—this place hosts everything from sports and esports to exhibitions. And the best part? It’s designed with amazing audio-visual systems and a flexible stage setup, which makes every show feel extra exciting!

Plus, it’s really convenient to get to, especially from Seoul or even Incheon Airport. Perfect if you’re flying in just for a show (or, like me, to take some cute photos for the memories ).

There’s CU here, where you can grab something here to eat and drink!

You can see a wide variety of themes and concepts showcased on this massive LED screen — it’s absolutely stunning.

The LED screen at Inspire Arena is seriously impressive, with so many different themes and concepts displayed—it’s such a visual treat! I’ll be uploading the video I captured on YouTube soon and will share the link here once it’s ready!

Another hidden gem in Incheon for all the photo lovers out there! If you’re hunting for your next Instagram-worthy spot, this might just be it!

Does this bring you back to… Paris? I miss my Paris trip so much — the vibes, the cafés, the corners that felt like a movie set. This spot in Incheon gave me a little taste of that again!

It’s a bit of a pity that if you’re not staying here or nearby, chances are you won’t make a special trip just to snap some photos. I did notice a few tour groups around—maybe they’re staying here, or perhaps they came for the casino (not too sure!). But honestly, such a beautiful spot deserves to be shared with everyone! Maybe consider doing a night’s stay here—it could be a nice little getaway, and it’s super convenient to head to the airport from here too!

It’s a little bit of a pity—if you’re not staying here or somewhere nearby, you probably won’t come all the way just to take a photo with this super pretty LED screen I did spot a few tour groups around though! Maybe they stayed at the hotel, or maybe came for the casino? (I’m not too sure hehe~)

But seriously, this place is way too pretty not to share! If you ever get the chance, maybe plan a night’s stay here! It’s a nice mini getaway, and it’s also super convenient if you’re flying off the next day—Incheon Airport is just nearby!

I wanted to explore a place that isn’t commonly featured by influencers. Since many of them have already done tastings, I thought it’d be nice to share something a little different—so you can discover and try it too!

Did you know that pasta in Korea is surprisingly good? If you’re not into typical Korean food, definitely give Italian or Japanese cuisine a try instead. I’ve recommended this to so many people—and trust me, it never disappoints! I’ve tried countless Italian and Japanese spots in Korea, and they’ve all been consistently amazing. The only thing that ever fails me is my wallet, haha!

The food here was really good — but what stood out even more were their fancy-looking cocktails! My cousin and I don’t really drink alcohol (and I’ve honestly had way too much milk tea lately ), so we skipped the drinks this time. But we saw quite a few tables ordering those pretty cocktails, so if that’s your thing, go for it!

That said, we both loved the food — and yes, even the chips were super addictive! haha

Do make a reservation in advance! Just a heads-up — all orders are done through an app, and it’s entirely in Korean. But don’t worry! You can let the staff know what you’re looking for, and they’ll be happy to help place the order for you directly through the app. Super helpful and convenient!

The Pop-up is already over.

As someone who loves sharing travel finds — especially anything Korea-related — here’s something fun I stumbled upon during my trip: a pop-up store featuring Kian84!

I’m a huge fan of variety shows, and I couldn’t resist sharing this with anyone who loves a good laugh. If you’re looking for something light and absolutely bizarrely funny to watch over the weekend, you must check out Kian84 B&B on Netflix. It’s hilariously random, and that’s what makes it so entertaining!

I was pretty excited when I saw the pop-up along the way while heading to Seongsu for a stroll — such a nice little surprise!

That said, the pop-up is already over, so don’t go looking for it. But the good news? The show is just a click away on Netflix. Go watch it and enjoy the chaos!

Still, I thought it’d be fun to share this little experience! I’m not particularly a fan of anyone in the house, but the show is just too funny not to talk about!

As you know, we staying near the airport, so we took the airport bus straight to Dosan. I kept an eye on the CatchTable app to make sure we booked at the right time — that way, we didn’t have to wait too long or risk a no-show in case we were late. So convenient!

I have been to the Jeju outlet, but cousin wanted to try, so here we are!
