Meetings and Meetings~

Here’s the long story.

Today was quite a long meaningful day for me! Early in the morning, I have arranged a meeting with Cal at her office together with Bryan. Bryan is my most expert friend in IT/Programming (He even did NUS website with CMS okay! Don’t play play!), and of cos, he is one of my good friends as well. And, lucky, I dragged him along for this meeting….! 🙂 I’m not a IT person, though I have knowledge in that area, and lucky he went along, and give a better explanation to Cal and her manager.

We supposed to handle this revamped website together, but it seems to be even more than that. It conclusive of Content Management System (which we need to build it ourselves….!), 2 websites (Singapore & Malaysia), and, it is not just a simple HTML site anymore. It suppose to be interactive, as Flash might not work well for iPad and iPhone user, we suggest to them HTML5 + Javascript to incorporate into the site that will be compatibles for all users.

We had roughly come out with a quotation with all the input that our client want, but to ensure, we did not over-charge them (we even, lower our budget to the max, since is Cal is my friend), we proposed this same project to one of a web-based company, and they charged us at least 31K. That’s alot, and it also means, we charged very low as well 🙂 Well, let’s hope to get this deal, and probably, I can say Hello to my Aussie trip 🙂

There’s some company that give a lower quotation as well. But, we are confident with ourselves getting this project done and with our expertise, I believe, we can did a good or even a better job.

(So, now you know, if you need a website with CMS, you may wish to drop me an email for quotation as well, we have probably 2-3 person handling one project depending the scale of the project) 

Ate lunch, and took a cab back to Teng’s place for a meeting (No! I did not waste my money, it’s claimable from her keke~) It’s a long long meeting that’s we both are planning and discussing and hopefully, all these will be done within 2 months.

Heading out to NEX, my first time there, had manicure and dinner together with Teng & Jolene. Finally, a relax moment after a more than 5hours of meeting-discussion. It’s a well-deserved moment at least. YAY! 🙂

After that, we got a call from Teng’s bro that fluffy seems to be really sick. Hence, I decided to go back together with Teng instead of heading home first. Fluffy seems to be really sick, REALLY sick! Poor fluffy! We brought her down for a little walk, and of cos, both of us have a great talk as well.

Void Deck Talk, remind me of when we are in our school days~ That’s really nice talk. We exchanged, and have some great nice talk, she is really someone who knows me in-side-out, and I think there’s nothing she dunno about me as well. HAHA! 🙂 Let’s hope we must get our thing done, and go for our ‘retreat’ holiday to Aussie/Hokkaido!

Anyway, I rejected the job offer.
Better Prospect, Better Advancement, Better Pay, Better Benefit, Better Me!

Meanwhile, I will still continue to send out resumes, upload my portfolio slowly and reading Harry Potter! 🙂
