First Skiing Experience

19 February 2012, my 2nd day in Korea!

(this doesn’t sound reasonable as I blogged everything else already. but this is supposed to be the first entry that I wrote :/)

Everyone should have an idea about I have just came back from my 14 days Korea trip. And, many most of you did not know that, the main reason that I wanted and driving me there is Skiing. I really wanted to try Skiing and probably have fun on the white snowy ground/land (whichever you called it).

Before the trip, I was really quite tied up with work, and it is my first time not doing any itinerary before a trip. Seriously, I hate this feeling because it is like not studying anything and enter the examination hall. The feeling is equally bad. But, I really have to thank CIN for helping us so much in preparing this trip to be much more organize and fruitful one. CIN had been doing research and emailing the correspond to secure everything on our behalf. (Not forgetting Joanne as well).

ZOOM to the day of my very very first skiing trip. I thought my trip was really exciting because skiing was on my second day. It supposed to be a 6 pax skiing class, but due to Joanne’s brother fall sick, hence together with Marilyn they decided to give it a missed. And, 4 of us, Cin, Joanne, Emily and me decided to go ahead for skiing since it was already planned. I so wanted to go, though I do feel bad leaving 2 of them while all of us heading there to PLAY.

We took a package with VIPTravel. This package inclusive of our gears and coaching session. — This cost us W75,000. Our coach brought us to a place where we get to select our full gears. The girls laughed at my own logic of “Skiing must wear super colorful clothing!”. Hence I really picked a PINK clothing because my logic is that Skiing supposed to wear as colorful as possible. But please don’t ask me why :S

after this we headed back for skiing, and its fun with little episode on my skiing, making me laugh non-stop! even by thinking of it right now. i still can’t forget that very moment. I can’t explain much but i have to say, i really really had a unforgettable experience LOL! Well, shortly after a few round, guessed we were all too tired for anything, hence, we ended our skiing and headed for some warm food and drink πŸ˜€

Little Episode happen during my skiing.

Despite various fall, I still enjoyed alot, and willing to go up and skiing a few times. I mean, this is my main objective/purpose of my trip, of cos I will give my best to enjoy it! During one of our last skiing session, while going up the slope by the travelator… Both of us witnessed this girl who nearly fall got ‘bounce back’ because of the ‘fence’ near the travelator. Hence, both of us do agreed that, if I really lost my balance… I should goes towards the fence (both right and left side…) at least I still able to keep myself standing and gain my balance somehow. So, just when I was skiing down the slope, I knew I’m going to fall… and the worst is that, someone is in front of me… First instinct was to ensure I don’t knocked into him, and next I realised his BOOT and SKIING gears is where I was skiing… After ‘siam-ing’ 2 of this, I totally lose my balance… till I saw the ‘fence’…… And thought that I was pretty safe to ‘knock onto’ the ‘fence’….. WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED THIS TO HAPPEN… (I can’t actually remember that very 5 seconds of moment) but I actually flips over the fence after knocking to it….. WITH the skiing gears!!!! No one actually helped me which I don’t know why, and then…. Joanne and Cin had a hard time finding me because…. I am…… ‘out of the frame’ and not in my usual BLACK! :S Well, i really like the experience though its a little scary due to the speed, but I don’t mind trying it again πŸ™‚
