EUROPE 2018/2019 DAY 7: Hello Budapest, Novotel Budapest Danube
[Travel during December 2018 β January 2019]
Departing Prague early in the morning, though we were pretty unwilling to leave a beautiful country. We woke up a little earlier, packed some breakfast for our 6.5hours train ride. It’s should be one of our longest ever. But, I have to say, it’s really comfortable ride except that, most of the time, the internet was pretty cranky! Lucky, I downloaded a playlist from spotify and terrace house which I can easily watched them off-line! π
The funny thing was, SY picked a 5EURO note, but we were a little worried to take the money back to our hotel. So we spent it at 2 bagels (empty) at Starbucks! And packed the remaining smoked salmon and ham for our breakfast! Quite yummy! π I ordered a hot tea to go too! π
We will be heading to a Christmas Market that is opened during Christmas Day. This is consider one of the rare sight because Christmas Market usually closed on 25/12, and some even on 24th. I will share more about it next post! This post will be purely on transportation and accommodation! π

What a beautiful picture of the palace(?) by the Danube. Interesting post as I was going to visit Prague in Sept 2020. But,Covid-19 stopped me! Your informative post has made me consider stopping by at Budapest if I do get to the Balkans and surrounding countries hopefully by end 2021 or maybe 2022
Thank you. I will be continue to share a little more about Budapest these few days as well. You can keep note of the places, and once covid is over, you can visit Prague and Budapest together. Oh ya, I did shared quite a bit of Prague before these posts, you will love them! Oh its actually Hungarian Parliament Building π
